Conway House Training and Resource Centre (TRC)

The Training Resource Centre (TRC) provides an environment where residents can increase their skills and experience in a number of areas. Staff provide basic coaching in IT, help with writing CV's and completing on line job searches and applications.

Residents can also participate in practical classes including basic cooking, learning about healthy eating on a budget and helping to prepare and cook meals as a group.

Drama classes provide opportunities for self expression, as well as learning the skills involved in the production of short films. The drama group develop storyboards and scripts which are turned in to performances and these performances are filmed and edited.

As part of confidence building residents are encouraged to engage in physical exercise and TRC staff organise and lead trips to local sports centres.

If you would like to speak to somone in regards to any of the current courses at the TRC please contact Gosia Glinska at gosia.glinska@sih.org
