Townsend House

Townsend House is our dedicated young person’s service for young women aged 16-25 years old (including looked after children and care leavers.) The scheme provides an environment where service users feel safe and secure, whilst increasing their independence skills and opportunities in a number of ways.

The Townsend House team work closely with external partnerships, agencies and charities to ensure they provide a range of support and encouragement; including physical and mental wellbeing, managing substance misuse, debt and money management, offending and tenancy management:

Conway House

Conway House is our Camden based, male hostel. The hostel is for service users with a variety of support needs, aged 18 and over.

The in-house Training Resource Centre (TRC) provides a variety of services, aimed at those classified as NEET (a young person Not in Education, Employment, or Training.) A number of established partnerships within the TRC provide young people with opportunities in construction, the music industry, catering and hospitality and sport rehabilitation.

Conway House work with a number of agencies and charities offering a variety of education and training opportunities for younger service users:

  • Construction Skills Centre- Level 1 and 2 construction training for 18/25 year olds.
  • House of St Barnabas (HoSB) – catering and hospitality training, open to all ages groups within the hostel. 
  • Endell Street Music Studios – music production, radio broadcasting workshops for service users, up to 25 years of age.
  • Camden Roundhouse – short courses and training in music production for service users, up to 25 years of age.
  • Street League – service for young people with substance misuse issues. Offer Education, Training and Employment (ETE) opportunities through involvement in healthy lifestyle and football sessions.
  • The Princes Trust – offer fashion, construction and music accredited courses for younger clients, up to 25 years old. 

Bethany House

Bethany House is our Islington based, female hostel. The hostel is for women aged 18 and over with a variety of support needs.

Bethany House work with a number of agencies and charities offering a variety of education and training opportunities for younger service users:

  • New Horizons- Work with 16-21 year olds who've become homeless. They provide everything from training and employment, counselling, drug and alcohol support, health, fitness, art, music and communication skills workshops
  • Street League- supports unemployed 16-24 year olds to move into sustained employment using the power of sport.
  • Alone in London- an employment support service for young people aged 18-25 who are not currently in employment and/or need housing support
  • Key Changes- provides music engagement and recovery services in hospitals and the community for young people and adults experiencing mental health problems.
  • Young Creatives Projects at the Round House- short courses and training in music production for service users, up to 25 years of age.in the Paul Hamlyn Roundhouse Studios.
