Thursday 14 June marks the one year anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire.
Throughout the week Londoners have been gathering in memory of the 72 people who lost their lives. On Thursday, June 14 a series of events in the local community are taking place in memory of those that died, in support of those who lost loved ones, and in solidarity with those who survived. At midday, on the day, a national minute of silence is being observed in memory of the 72 people who lost their lives.
In recognition of this, Sapphire staff will be pausing, from their usual duties, at midday on Thursday 14 June to observe the minutes silence as a sign of respect for those who lost their lives.
