Safety Notice – Hotpoint, Indesit & Creda tumble dryers

Whirlpool have issued a safety notice requesting customers to unplug and stop using dangerous, faulty tumble dryers.

They have identified that Hotpoint, Indesit, and Creda tumble dryers built between April 2004 and September 2015 may be a fire risk.

How to check if your machine is affected?

If your tumble dryer has a green "dot" sticker in the door area or on the back, this means the machine has the necessary safety modification and no further action is required.

If there is no green "dot" sticker in the door area or on the back, please find the model and serial number and enter the details onto the Hotpoint or Indesit websites.

The model and serial number can be found on the back of the dryer door or in the recess of the dryer door.
