Heather Thomas – Chief Executive
Heather is a housing professional with 18 years’ experience at a senior level in housing associations.
Heather joined Sapphire in November 2016.
She has substantial experience of managing diverse housing tenures including general needs housing, supported housing, shared ownership, retirement housing, student and key worker housing. Heather also has considerable experience in transformation, customer service, cultural change, performance improvement and governance.
Heather is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has a Masters in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Harry Draycott – Finance Director
Harry has more than over 30 years experience of financial and general management in the industrial, service and third sectors. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
He joined Sapphire Independent Housing as Finance Director in 2010.
Beverly Finn – HR and Governance Manager
Beverly joined Sapphire Independent Housing in January 2009, having previously worked in the private sector in mainly executive management support and human resource management. Beverly has a CIPD level 7 Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management and is an Associate member of CIPD and a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Since joining Sapphire Independent Housing, Beverly has focussed on organisational development, delivering a professional HR service and has taken the lead in the organisation’s communication and marketing strategy.
Bukky McGlynn – Operations Director
Bukky joined Sapphire Independent Housing as their new Operations Director in November 2015.
Bukky has over 20 years experience of leading large, multi functional teams to deliver quality services in both the private and public sector. She has a successful track record in delivering transformational and cultural change programmes across a diverse range of organisations including hotels, visitor attractions, local authorities and housing associations.
