What is Sapphire Independent Housing’s approach to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)?
We believe that all residents are entitled to quiet enjoyment of their home and their local environment. In return, we expect residents to respect their neighbours, the immediate environment and their community.
We take pride in our partnership working with the Police, the local authorities where we work and other statutory and voluntary sector organisations. Equally we take full responsibility for managing and resolving the anti-social behaviour (ASB) and hate incidents reported to and observed by us and will treat everyone as an individual having an appreciation of their individual needs and wants.
Our Anti-Social Behaviour and Hate Incident Policy helps us to meet our corporate mission of providing homes to improve lives and enable people to live independently by putting the needs of our residents first and demonstrating fairness, equality, diversity and respect for all. This policy should be read alongside our Anti-Social Behaviour and Hate Incident Procedure as this is where more detail about the specific steps we will take is detailed.
You can find a copy of our ASB Policy and Procedure here.

- General needs residents can report incidents during working hours through their Housing Officer, by calling 020 7485 8889 or by emailing info@sih.org.
- Anyone making a report may invite a representative to support them if needed.
