About Townsend House
Townsend House is our dedicated young person’s service for young women aged 16-25 years old (including looked after children and care leavers.) The scheme provides an environment where service users feel safe and secure, whilst increasing their independence skills and opportunities in a number of ways.
The Townsend House team work closely with external partnerships, agencies and charities to ensure they provide a range of support and encouragement; including physical and mental wellbeing, managing substance misuse, debt and money management, offending and tenancy management:

Referral to this scheme is via Herts Young Homeless, all Hertfordshire district housing offices and The Housing Brokerage Accommodation Teams.
